Jeanneau boats is one of the largest French companies, next to Beneteau, designing and manufacturing motor boats and sails. With 500 models it has designed and 100,000 boats that have sailed around the world today, Jeanneau is one of the most recognisable boat brands in the world.
The ultimate dream for many people is a solo boat trip. Family cabin boats such as the Merry Fisher are the perfect option for them, where they can enjoy plenty of space to move around and have fun.
The Jeanneau shipyard in France has been around since the early 20th century and is one of the best brands of these boats in the world. They have a wide range of different models such as catamarans, sailing yachts and the prestigious NC series motor yachts.
Jeanneau boat show - the newest boats from the French shipyard
As many as ten new products from French boat manufacturer Jeanneau were showcased for the 2016 season at the Press Sea Trials, boat tests for selected journalists from around the world. The event took place in Cannes on the Côte d'Azur. More than a dozen new Jeanneau boat models were presented to the media. The Merry Fisher 795 and Cap Camarat 10.5 (day cruiser) were representatives of smaller motor boats, while the Leader 36, and especially the Leader 46 with IPS and Z drive, are a class of yachts that offer everything needed for a longer stay at sea. For the more demanding and those wanting complete comfort, there is the Prestige 550 motor yacht and the luxuriously equipped Jeanneu 54 sailboat.
The biggest European sailboats from France
Although Jeanneau has many prolific sailboat designers, these titles have never meant peace and relaxation for the company. On the contrary, they gave it an even greater desire to create. It is in this spirit that the new Jeanneau Yacht 60, premiered at the Boot Fair in Düsseldorf, was created. In the French shipyard's portfolio, the Jeanneau Yacht 60 represents a round number of successful and productive projects.
The special feature of the JY60 is that it is one of the largest sailboats in the yard's range, in which all knowledge and experience has been invested. Despite its size, much has been automated so that the crew of this 60-metre sailboat can consist of two sailors.
